Past Student
PhD Candidate, August 2015 to August 2015
Facilitation, Improvised Facilitation, Knowledge Exchange, Design Tools

I am a final year student working on a practice-led PhD to design robust evaluation frameworks for Improvised Facilitation.

I am a creative facilitator and coach who works with public sector agencies, companies, organisations and partnerships to develop people, ideas and innovative solutions and I love making unexpected things happen in groups, in unlikely settings and often in marathon residential ideation events lasting many days.

My background is in theatre and cultural industries development. Before co-founding Creative Exchange in 2000 I was a theatre director (completing an MA Theatre in Lancaster 30 years ago!), a producer, a local government arts officer, director of an arts project and for several challenging years ran Liverpool City Council’s Arts and Cultural Industries Department and established the UK's first Film Commission.
