My current research area is use design management to identify key attributes of consumer behaviours in relation of creates new business opportunities for SMEs to secure a long-term sustainable development and foresight viable future city high street scenario. 

I have years experiences worked with different types of enterprises in China, from as an operation manager in the large chain commercial plaza to as a strategist helped startups create new business from scratch. As a practising design strategist, my current research interests have moved towards understanding design ‘thinking’ as an excellent means to understand the changing landscape of consumer behaviour and how these transformations could lead to new opportunities in both the UK and China.
